Winners of 22nd theme:Cars vs motorcycles

1st: Lee Siow En, 11, Gongshang Primary school

“Zoom!” The car went passed me. “Wosh!” The motorcycle went passed me. One after one, I was stuck in the middle of the road, not able to cross. It was horrible, I was all drenched because of the rain. I was late for class. Talking about cars and motorcycle, let us discuss about this topic…
Motorcycles and cars have bads and goods. They have almost the same functions, both are used for travelling to one place to the other. Motorcycles are indeed smaller than cars. In that way, it is not that spacious and does not have air-conditioner. When it rains, the driver might got to find somewhere for shelter, very troublesome. Unlike cars, they are big and have air-conditioner, are more spacious, suitable for bigger families like me, and is provided with shelter. As you can see, cars have better functions than motorcycles which results in having a higher price than the motorcycle. This conclusion makes me chosed car as my decision .
Back to my situation I’m in now, I was finally able to cross the road and arrived at the tuition I am supposed to be. In the end, I was sent homed as I was too wet. I bathed, drank a cup of hot milo. To avoid the busy traffic, I went the other way and this time, with my umbrella.

2nd: RC, 10, Poi Ching Primary School

First, the car named ‘Bugatti’ has twelve thousand horsepower [speed].
A motorcycle named ‘Dodge Tomahawk’ travels faster than the Bugatti the fastest speed among the other cars anyways there will be risks to people driving these kinds of motorcycles. For speeding it would be the motorcycles.
Second, vehicles are needed support for the people driving. But motorcycles does not have support for the driver so the person driving will be very vulnerable to be falling of the vehicle and causing severe damages to the driver and there are many motorcycle accidents all around the world even more deaths were committed than the car accidents a lot survived by protection and only a few or some deaths were committed and when it is raining there is no roof on the motorcycle so the driver would be wet before the person would be able to reach his or her destination but a car has a roof to protect the driver from being wet so protection would go best with the cars. More cars were being sold than motorcycles were so the most of vehicles sold would be cars. For traffic jams the cars cannot squeeze through other cars it will take the other cars to wait for a long time on the other hand the motorcycles can be able to pass through such gaps about the vehicle’s size so for traffic jam situations it would be for the motorcycles. When people are boarding a motorcycle there is only one seat for a person to seat but for a car more people can be seating in the car. Most of people sitting in the vehicle it would be the car. A motorcycle holds only seven gallons of gas but for the car it can hold twelve gallons of gas, fifteen gallons of gas and more. The more gallons of gas the vehicle can hold will be the car.
Finally, after compared cars and motorcycles pros and cons, the most awards the vehicle that people will get is the car. It would be safe to say to use a car for your choice. This is the end of me comparing the car and the motorcycle.     

 

3rd: Loo En Qi, 9, St Anthony’s Canossian Primary School

Hi everyone, my name is En Qi. Today, we are going to talk about cars versus motorcycle. First, I ‘m going to say is I prefer to seat on car.
Let me tell you why. First of all, when it is raining it has a shelter but if you are in the motorcycle you must wear a raincoat and if you forgot to bring raincoat, end up soaking wet. Secondly of all, you can relax while driving and listening to songs played through the radio and you will have lighter injuries than when you are in the motorcycle.
So,everyone if you want to buy a vehicle, it is better to choose cars than motorcycle.
Even though, they are expensive but safety come first, if you want to buy a motorcycle, please remember to bring raincoat in case of raining.
