1st: Fiona Auralia
Nurse Horror
It was the day of my annual family gathering. We decided to go to my grandparents’ house for our family gathering. The night was peaceful and calm. The cheerful stars twinkled across the deep blue sky. As my family and I reached our grandparents’ house, we realised that all of the family members were already there. We were greeted by the sound of joy and chattering of the people inside the house. The food was served just minutes after we arrived. After eating my dinner with the whole family, it was time to do activities. I was having a whale of a time with all the activities. Suddenly, my mischievous cousin, Ron, asked my grandfather for a ghost story. My grandfather was first reluctant to the idea but he soon gave in to the pleadings of the children.
My grandfather told a story about an aunt of his. His aunt was a young, pretty nurse. She met different kinds of people in the hospital. One day, she met across a guy called Thomas. He was a kind, reserved and quiet person. He was a doctor. Thomas and my grandfather’s aunt were friends at first. After years, they became a couple. After a few months, they began to fight a lot of times. Even if the problem was small, their argument was big. One day, they were having a heated argument. After a few days, they broke up. My grandfather’s aunt was okay with the break-up. However, Thomas was not.
Thomas was devastated and angry at the same time. He was so broken hearted that he quit his job as he did not wanted to see my grandfather’s aunt who he always met at the hospital. After that, no one knew about Thomas again. Some said that he went overseas. One day, my grandfather’s aunt was in a late night shift. All her colleagues had already went home. She was alone. She was working when she suddenly have a feeling that she was being watched. She turned her head around but no one was there. When she turned her head back, she saw a man in a mask. His face was not seen. It was like he had no face at all. He was holding a knife. My grandfather’s aunt was scared stiff and she could not move at all. The man in the mask let out a smirk before he slashed my grandfather’s aunt.
Fortunately, she still had the ability to run to the lift. She was near the lift and the man in the mask followed her. She fell on the ground right inside the lift and the man in the mask also went inside the lift. She had no strength left to do anything. As her hand cover the blood stain on the nurse uniform, her eye was starting to close. When her eyes were about to close, the man in the mask stopped and open the mask. To her horror, it was Thomas. His mouth turned into a smile before he moved the knife and stabbed my grandfather’s aunt. After realising what he had done, Thomas was scared. He looked at the lifeless body of my grandfather’s aunt with blood all around her. He was scared but the most action he regretted was to kill my grandfather’s aunt body. Thomas actually managed to run away but the most outrageous thing he did was that he brought the body of my grandfather’s dead aunt.
He brought back her body to his house. He pretended that my grandfather’s aunt was still alive. He cleaned her body up and dressed her. He pretended that he was having a date with her. He put her body next to his when he slept that night. He dreamt that my grandfather’s aunt was trying to drag her body towards him and she was trying to kill him. The next day, the lift was found covered in a pool of blood. The police tried to find the main cause. After a few days, Thomas went to the police station and owned his mistake. He was sentenced to death. My grandfather’s aunt body was found and her body was starting to decay.
My grandfather’s family was so sad over the news. My grandfather’s grandmother wailed loudly during the funeral. After telling the story, I found Ron shivering at a corner. Whenever I remembered about the story, it always sent chills down my spine
2nd: Adeline Joviani
Bully
“Stop! “ Bailey yelled. She had been cyber bullied and also bullied badly in her school for the past 8 months. It started when Bailey and her best friend, Helen, whom she had known since kindergarten, had a misunderstanding with her. Right after the misunderstanding, her best friend started to hang out with a clique of mean girls that is notorious for bullying girls younger than them. The girls said mean things to her and threatened to bully any of the girls that want to befriend Bailey and thus Bailey had no friends to talk to and she always eat alone during recess.
She was really stressed out as she had no one to talk to about her being bullied. Her mother is always busy that she was barely making end meets to support the family since Bailey’s father died a few years ago because of an accident. Since her father’s death, Bailey was no longer the outgoing and cheerful girl everyone had known. She always keeps herself in her room and keeps her problems to herself. She could not endure her stress anymore that she cut her wrist and bled herself to death.
Her spirits did not die in peace and thus she seeks revenge from the girls that had bullied her. One by one, she haunts them in their dreams and one by one was found dead in their room, bled to death too, even Helen. Never did anyone know that Bailey’s spirit still lingers around.
3rd: Abegail Phang
The Pervert
I woke up seeing a shadow of a man in front of me. I looked up and saw him staring straight into my eyes. My heart skipped a beat as he had a very blood thirsty star. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I was not able to do anything. I cried and asked him “Where am i? What do you want?”. He started laughing and said to me” You are in hell my little girl and I want your organs! Muahahaha!”
After hearing this I told myself to stay calm as when there is a will there will be a way. Therefore I said “Alright you can have them!” He was shocked as none of the victims were as calm as me and therefore he said “Good girl! I will take them out tomorrow as since you are so calm I will give you another day to live !”, after hearing this I smiled at him.
When night came, I quickly grabbed my phone out of my pocket while he was asleep and quickly called the police. I said “ hello Mr policemen, you have to help me , I am being caught by this very old and dirty man and he wants take my organs out! Please you have to help me !” The policemen said “Calm down little girl we will help you, we have heard of this man he is an ex-criminal, do you know where are you now?” I said “ No I don’t” . He said “ Its fine, just on your GPS and we would be able to track the location down, now all you have to do is to stay calm as if you co-operate with us we would be able to catch him be tomorrow morning.” I said “ Yes Mr policemen.”
The next morning , he woke up and saw me sleeping. He said “ Rise and shine my little girl , your day has come, muahaha muahahaha!”. He grabbed his chopper and when he was about to chop me off, the police arrived and handcuffed him. The police said to him “ Long time no see, welcome home again.”
The policemen told me that they would be sending me home too and I said “ Thank you, thank you so much!” He said “ Its our job!”
When I got home, my mother immediately ran towards me and hugged me tightly. She cried and said “ Abegail my poor girl, are you feeling alright?” I smiled and said “ Yes mum I am fine don’t worry.”
From this incident I have learnt a very valuable lesson and that was to not put your parents advice on deaf ears.
